A practical companion for your first run, your next research choice and the room on your wrist.
01 / THE FIRST ROUTE
Start with space.
01
Drag anywhere on the arena
The Signal seeks your finger. Lift it and the Signal stops. There is no inertial coasting.
02
Give your route room to return
Wide loops leave more options than crossing the same point repeatedly. Watch the space behind you.
03
Double-tap to dash
Dash has its own cooldown. It does not spend a Paradox Rewind charge.
04
Collect every spark, then exit
Timed crystals are required too. Collect one before its ring empties for bonus Freeze time and research points; it remains required after the bonus expires.
05
Use a second chance deliberately
After a crash, Paradox Rewind can restore your recent local state when a charge is available. The discarded path becomes a temporary lethal ghost. Restart is always available.
02 / ECHOES & CLOCKS
Read what is counting down.
The echo clock counts down to the next recorded route entering the arena. It is not a deadline for finishing the map. When the echo limit is reached, the spawn clock disappears.
A crystal’s ring is a different clock: it counts down its bonus. The top HUD also shows sparks collected, active echoes and Rewind charges; the skill buttons show charges and cooldowns.
ROUTE MEMORY2 SECOND ECHO
Draw a line. Watch what you leave behind.
YouYour echo
An illustration of the core idea. Explore the actual arenas in the game.
03 / THE SIGNAL LAB
Choose for this run. Learn for the next.
Abilities & charges
Tap an equipped slot to replace its ability. The loadout has limited space; owning a skill does not mean it is equipped. Refill adds one charge at a time, up to that skill’s current capacity. A charge and a cooldown are separate limits.
Permanent research
The 24-node Signal Matrix has three connected branches: Motion, Loadout and Timing. Select a node to see the current and next-rank effects. Locked nodes still show their benefits; tap a missing prerequisite to jump to it, even in another branch.
Vector Drive opens later research paths. Slot Matrix expands your loadout, Deep Reserves raises charge capacity, and Fast Cycle reduces cooldowns. The displayed numbers reflect your current research.
Where research points come from
Map clears, optional Route Seals, timed crystal bonuses, Resonance spark chains, the first Daily Rift clear of the day, and first Chronometer clears on Watch.
04 / ELEVEN ABILITIES
Know what your tool changes.
Ability effects. Exact durations and prices are shown in the current game build.
Ability
What it does
Freeze
Pauses the field clock: echoes, hazards and their countdowns. You keep control.
Surge
Temporarily increases the Signal’s speed. Movement still stops when you lift your finger.
Shield
Absorbs a hit. The obstacle stays in the arena.
Magnet
Draws nearby sparks toward the Signal.
Phase
Briefly suppresses lethal contacts. Solid walls and closed gates still block movement.
Pulse
Pushes the next echo’s arrival back. Echoes already in the arena remain.
Shift
Delays the next echo’s arrival. Existing replays are not erased.
Anchor
Slows the field clock while the Signal keeps its speed.
Repulse
Pushes nearby moving debris away and clears nearby collision scars.
Prism
Protects the Signal against beams.
Blink
Transfers the Signal forward. Solid geometry limits the landing point.
05 / READ THE HAZARDS
A warning is part of the route.
Moving debris
Read the faint trail and material shell. Rocks can ricochet, patrol or orbit a fixed core. Cryo Ice, Chrono Crystal and Basalt can fracture after impacts; Void Alloy does not break. Later regions add other materials with their own toughness.
Beams & gates
A beam warns you before it fires. Time the gap, and use Freeze to hold the field clock. Gates keep their own opening cycles.
Field wells
The lens marks the pull. The dark core is lethal. These are damaged local fields on the arena.
Fold faults
A calm rift gives a brief hold; a collapsing rift is lethal. A Warp transfer moves you and temporarily flips horizontal steering. A Candy rift opens a short, faster training mode.
Scars & paradox ghosts
Echo collisions can leave hazardous scars. A discarded rewind branch returns once as a ghost. Plan a clear lane before using your next tool.
06 / MAPS & EXPEDITIONS
There is more than one way onward.
The Fold Road
77 maps in eleven regions. Inspect the next node in the Atlas before entering. Each map offers three optional Route Seals: Clear, Control and Paradox. Finishing the complete Road begins a harder named pass while preserving earlier records.
Deep Time
Explore uncharted configurations of the Road in a separate, procedurally generated expedition. Each clear leads deeper; layouts can recur. Each generated arena is checked for a connected route before play. A crash with no Rewind left ends the expedition; a run left after a clear can be resumed from Home.
Daily Rift
A daily diagnostic reopens a familiar route with a new spark layout. The daily reward is granted once for the current game day.
07 / APPLE WATCH
Feel the next echo. Turn time back.
Thirty-six compact rooms in three movements tune the Keeper Chronometer: calibration, regulation and certification. Their rewards support the main campaign; they are not required to finish it.
Controls on the wrist
Touch anywhere to place a thumbstick, then lean your finger to steer. Lift to stop. Turn the Digital Crown backward to rewind. Pulse Sense taps your wrist before an echo arrives. Wrist Dash opens after two clears; Tick Freeze opens after six.
Rewards that reach iPhone
Every first room clear adds 25 research points to the phone game. Four clears unlock the Tourbillon Tail, eight add a Rewind charge, and twelve delay echo arrivals by 0.5 seconds. The tail can be switched on Home.
Remote play
Start a map on the paired iPhone, then open Remote on Watch. The watch face becomes your thumbstick; double-tap to dash. The wrist view follows the Signal and marks nearby objects outside the screen.
08 / PROGRESS & RATINGS
Keep the record. Choose the next pass.
Progress stays on your devices. Game Center sign-in is optional; leaderboards and achievements use Apple’s service. The game has separate iPhone and Apple Watch ratings.
The Keeper Archive is recovered piece by piece: field notes follow a first encounter, region dossiers follow a first cleared map, and Keeper records follow a completed region. A small reward strip names new fragments after an attempt ends. Tap it to open numbered finds and text excerpts. Encounters never interrupt play; Home never opens a collection popup. The first route offers optional interactive practice, with no charge cost. Basic controls and ability descriptions are available from the beginning; the ending remains sealed until the campaign is finished.
iPhoneRoute Seals × 100 + best Deep Time depth × 250 + completed passes × 1000.
Apple WatchCleared rooms × 100, plus 10 for every second of a best time under par.
Settings → Language offers Auto, English and Русский. Auto follows your device language; a manual choice is saved and updates visible text immediately. Reset progress asks for confirmation, then erases local progress while keeping sound, haptic and language preferences. Uninstalling the app can also remove its local data.
